I'm experimenting with shims because the idea of using just washers doesn't sit well with me. At least with shims, there is more surface area for the hub assembly to make contact with the torsion beam assembly.

These shims are cut out of .25mm shim stock. There are 6 pictured in the attach photo, but I only used 2 of these shims, and that was enough to kick the toe out from .30* to -.09*. I'm only using one shim now. I might have to pick up some .1mm shim stock and stack again. I really need an alignment rack in my garage.

No need for a rack, just get a set of Smart Strings and a Smart Camber gauge, never visit the alignment shop again. *especially important for those after off-track excursion checks in the paddock.

I did a similar thing, just bought different gauge stainless and cut shims to set the toe to zero.
