I was running 225/50R15 on 15x7's with a +38 I was not lowered but she did not rub at all, and that is a much larger tire

if not go with the safer 205/55R15, not sure what you are talkin about that size being hard to come by, but that is the most common of all the sizes mentioned and the cheepest.... the 205/55R15 would be the happy in between

You're right, it was the 215/50/15's. Discount Tire only shows one, the BFG G-Force and they are $111 ea
