I assume your 2 year old is in a car-seat... If that's the case it will be TIGHT. I suggest test driving one with your whole family just to be sure. You will like the car however, I love mine as well as my past Tacomas. Good luck.

Yes the two year old is in a seat. I'll just have to bring them. It's hard trying to wheel and deal with kids in the dealership though.

If you have a hard time in the dealership w/3 kids.....are you actually planning on spending time with them 'in' the Yaris after you buy it?

Maybe, maybe not, right now I have a 2 seat tacoma (5spd), and we can't go anywhere. The whole trapped like a rat thing. My wife has a mini-van (auto) and when she works the kids and I are stuck. I have tried multiple times to show her how to drive the 5spd,and the local police asked me to forget it ,she makes them nervous. It will be mostly a commuter and on the weekends we will be able to get out and go.Thats the plan anyway.

Let the kids work to your advantage when making the deal.

Sit calmly and patiently and prepare to sit all day if necessary to make the best deal.

Allow the kids some freedom to do what kids naturally do. The situation will stress out all the salesmen and managers and motivate them to move the deal along or want throw you out... but you won't leave of course... without a new Yaris at a great price!
