What do y'all think about Optima batteries. They claim to be light weight.

I always though Optimas were basically just spillproof.

Didn't think they had specific ranges of light batteries

Lightweight? No way! Quite heavy. The only advantage to these batteries is their resistance to spilling (gel contents), vibration resistance (spiral core), and of course the ability to use inside the cabin, as they have no breathable emissions. It is a totally sealed unit. So, the offroad 4x4 guys and the racing guys love these. As far as lightweight, never heard that quality.

I suppose we could just get a hand-crank like in the roaring 20's
