Now that I have a definate answer to my question would someone with a european model please check the dealer for the parts needed to make this work and possible post a wiring diagram of the outside temperature. I am trying to get my Canadian Yaris LB 5 door to have this function. The instrument cluster has the spot for it just no option to make it work. I thank all who supplied me with the answers needed.

As a side note, I have a temperature gauge as part of a Toyota-supplied option on my electrochromic rear-view mirror. There is a digital temperature display, ice warning, and digital compass direction display. This mirror dims automatically based on lighting conditions and headlights of drivers behind you. Great for small cars like the Yaris, where you are so low to the ground.

By the way....
I would love to get part numbers for the silver door handles!!! Does Europe have 5-door hatchback models? Could one of the euro owners look up the part number for me please? Silver handles, 5-door hatchback. |

The ones in Europe look like the silver on the center console. At least from the picture, they do not appear to be chrome.
 I have no chrome in the car whatsoever, so it wouldn't be good to go with the RS handles for me. |
