Yeah, it's not "cold" in comparison to anywhere in the northeast, but when you're used to having temperatures from 90F to 115F, 40 to 60 seems pretty damn cold.

Doesn't even need to be a year. I went to New Mexico for a week where it was like 17 degrees and then came back to CA and it was in the high 50's and I was walking around in a t-shirt and flip flops. But you cant say it never gets cold here. I was just in knee deep snow here in socal yesterday.
