by this, do you mean that over time the chassis of the tc and xb began to flex causing the B pillars to come closer together? If that is the case, this bar should help that, as it would continuously be holding it at the dimensions it is installed in, if your car has already had this "dimension change" that is the reason for the slot in the brackets, to allow for slight differences in chassis measurements


Oh and tamago, it looks like the hatchback is 3/4" wider at the B-pillar, or at least thats what the collision section of the factory repair manual says, page DI-5 and DI-8 measurement J-j is the measure from the top of the B-pillars, I will have to double check on a actual liftback.

no i mean people installed a harness bar in there TC and it started to sink the pillar below it

i might be able to dig up pics

dont know about the XB i know thats the reason we opted not to get it for our TC

happened here to somebody local you can see the pillars bent in, it wasnt a good thing

could of been the bar design or something but i know there were a few people who had that happen to them
