Interesting... Will that mess with the airbag deployment at all? The guy that sold me my car told me the airbags will not deploy if the passenger isn't wearing a belt. He said you are worse off if the airbag were to deploy that way. Probably

he's right. no seatbelt + airbag = broken neck. with this setup, if someone's in the seat, and you've disable the seatbelt latch, the airbag will deploy and probably kill your passenger.
