I heard if you buy the TRD springs/shocks
you don't need to cut the bumpstops.....

For warranty purposes , yes it is , Toyota does not recomend cutting bump stops with it's TRD products . But other after market shocks and spring set ups it may require this to be done , as you stated best preformance/handling from them. ![]()
