I heard if you buy the TRD springs/shocks you don't need to cut the bumpstops.....

i think it's because if you buy the trd springs/shocks together, so it should be fine? that's what i would think..someone please clarify for me.

For warranty purposes , yes it is , Toyota does not recomend cutting
bump stops with it's TRD products . But other after market shocks and spring
set ups it may require this to be done , as you stated ,for you to get the
best preformance/handling from them.
