They're installed with proper antiseize compound at the factory, and gapping's not recommended with the iridium plugs. It is highly advisable to let the engine cool completely before removing plugs from an aluminum head, and to use a torque wrench when installing the new ones, though these are plugs that use a gasket and thus have some leeway on installation torque. If you ever strip the plug hole threads in the head, though, you'll wish you hadn't.
