Having installed a set myself I can't find any reason to be concerned about failure or the safety of these spacers. I can't imagine what would have to happen to cause a failure of the spacer itself or the bolts included for installation.

No one can blame you for playing it safe, but an insurance company can drop you for any number of reasons so what's the diff?

Up until now 99.7% of hub spacer's where fitted too the front of hub and
some people did not put extended studs in to compensate And /OR they
where not hub centric as well ,
these Penquin hub spacer's are a must have if you want too fill your inner guard and keep both your front and rear wheels the same offset.
Unnoticeable if painted and are fitted to the rear.
