Best filter I've ever seen is the filter that came on the Yaris, from the factory, not the replacement found at the dealership...those appear to be good but nothing special. Factory filter looked like a premium Nippon, but with silicone valve, gasket and special construction for the media.

I've never seen that. Maybe I'll look into it after I use up these 12 Pennzoil filters.
