Sometimes the rattles come from where the under dash vent tubes attach to the vents above the cup holders. I took a large soft car wash sponge cut it in quarters and gently wedged a piece beneath these junctions. Remove the lower glove box using the same technique outlined below for the small storage bin. Open the pull down hinged access panel under the steering wheel and carefully remove the small storage bin below the dash dimmer dial to get a good look where to stuff. The bin can be snapped out by pulling upward. The stops on the top then can be slid down to the removal notches on the opening. Works for me.
My car has had many rattles that I've hunted down. Some remain. Some I've fixed using advise I've found here on this fine site. Some owners have been lucky to have rattle free cars. Not me. Even so I love my little car.
