While going thru all the pages of nice wheel/tire setups I've notice many that choose to leave the rotors/calipers and drums all rusty and nasty looking.
If you are gonna upgrade wheels and tires I feel that the other parts need love too. Otherwise just leave the steelies and hubcaps on IMHO. |

pssst... I was being sarcastic. Point being to each his own, if you want to make your brakes pretty go for it! If not, more power to you. I've painted brakes before and unless you intend on redoing them constantly or showing the car... What's the point. If you're worried about looks spend the money and do it right. I'd never say increased breaking ability was over kill if you intend on doing any sort of spirited driving at all, especially if you added rotating mass with larger wheels. |
