Engine oil ?! I'm really confused - Toyota Yaris Forums

for me I used the Toyota genuine motor oil and changed every 2500km as the oil is cheap. I am not that fan of synthetic due to coating effect.

Trust me, changing oil in shorter intervals will have engine longebility and far more better than using long interval synthetics.

I live in Saudi Arabia on extreme HOT

and sandstorm weather conditions....HiH

Mobil1 is probably a similar formulation world wide, here in Canada i use Mobil1 5w-20 in the winter and 10w-30 in the summer, changing at 10,000kms intervals,

For me I use Mobil1 5w-20 with a royal purple filter at 7500 mi intervals.
