Yeah, unless you put too much on and it gets into the engine and MAFS.

You could try a little bit of water and some good elbow grease.

you'd have to spray A LOT of lube on there to have it soak thru the filter and mess up the MAF sensor...lol

itll be fine rubbing the headlight...
