Standalone - minimum 2k for the unit, 1k+ for the harness and labor, 1k+ for tuning.
Piggyback - $320 + $400ish for tuning. Obviously a standalone would be better, but they're in two completely different price leagues. For low boost and a stock engine you only need a piggyback. Also - I hope you're really good buds with those guys at the shop. You're probably going to be spending a decent amount of cash on fabrication. Getting the piping right and making a downpipe are costs you have to consider. Oh and one last thing: do yourself a favor and don't go larger than a stage 2 clutch. Even with a turbo, that clutch will still be overkill on a Yaris. Having a heavy clutch can really suck big if you drive in any traffic whatsoever. |
