No, LOL I was just joking...! The OP means just resting his hand on the seat...Seriously his passenger seat pressure sensor must be pretty sensitive...I thought they would be set to around 50-60 pounds or something...

They are supposed to be set around that (i believe.)

i know ive seen what the weight threshold was, but i cant remember for sure right now, and forget where i read it.

(and having lost my owners manual many moons ago, and being that I'm still waiting on my dealership for the new Yaris Hatch ones to come in (on back back back order it seems!), means i cant verify it in the manual. im sure its stated there.

The seat belt warning is set a 20lbs, the airbag will not activate unless 40 or more pounds are in the seat.
