Did not have a CAI. Went from stock to this. I've only had short trips with it in the last two days, but I swear it feels like the engine breathes easier. Seems to have a bit more bottom end too. I wouldn't call it a night and day difference, but the engines does seem to like it.

It adds a nice little growl to the engine too.

It's a very tight fit front to back. I had to push the battery back a bit which was somewhat problematic because I'm using a red top and its tray adapter. But it went in very quickly, was like a 15 minute job.
