Difficulty of installing the grill? Ill be getting mine soon and would like to know the best way to do it.

Start by lining up the part that curves beneath the Toyota logo. Set it so that it looks right then drill through the grill mounting hole at that location and into the bumper. Fasten with a zip-tie. Then do the bottom curve the same way. Last you'll need to do at least the upper two corners. I did those and the other two on the top of the grill. Depending on the size of the drill you use you may find it hard to get a good angle for drilling. Make sure you keep checking to see that it looks right. I made the mistake of pre-drilling the holes in the center of the tabs that held the old grill on. I figured it wouldn't matter if the holes didn't line up perfectly since I was using zip ties. That method didn't work well at all. So I ended up using the grills mounting holes as guides, and when drilled, the holes were usually no where near where you would have thought they should be. |
