I can't see the links Tolm posted but I am not running rear speakers and I don't miss them at all, but I'm also running an amp to my mids so they sound pretty damn awsome. Just make sure whichever speakers you get you don't run the volume to high sending a clipped signal to everthing. Its going to be a little bit louder than what it sounds now it may not even be noticeable since you're only adding maybe 3 - 5 watts with the new headunit.
When I started on my system a few years ago I used budget 0 gauge which I'm slowly replacing. If I would have bought the good stuff I coulda saved myself quite a bit of money. So please don't take my suggestions as me being an a****** I'm speaking from experience and trying to keep you from making the same mistakes.
