^ Nice install, and I like your mod.
As long as the bracket is firmly attached to the beam axle, there is no "correct" tension. If the bushing is installed so that the bar is just held firmly in place, it will perform its function, which is to allow movement but resist twisting. For example, the Ultra Racing bar, which works quite well, isn't attached to the axle at all. But, I'll say it again: I like your mod and it would be cool if they made it that way.

I think it is more solid design. I am sure the supplied “U” clamps would work just fine, but since I have the capability in the shop to improve it, then why not? I am also planning to change the attachment to the outer hole as I find the stiff setting on the inside hole to be to much as when one side wheel hits the bump on the road the force is transmitted aggressively to the other wheel, Hence giving me a feeling of overinflated tires. Nice to have the adjustment.
