I'm a 747 cargo flying tech....I slap pilots when they get stupid. Ego's incorporated.

Love the smoothness of that intake flow. Nice find!

Modding the 1.5 up to a 1.8, sigh, dreamin'.

Thanks, jet... flow design has always fascinated me so it's been really fun experimenting with this manifold project. Everything leads to something else so I'm always on the lookout to see what new idea comes to me next.

Just finished bead blasting the throttle body adaptor and the MAF tube so that everything matches now...

I know on extremely hot days my (heat transferring aluminum) Weapon R intake manifold drops power, but I still like the look. As far as looks go, that project you finished looks smokin'. Thermodynamic efficiency aside, even Toyota/Scion would admit that's one sweet looking motor. Nice job!!!!

Yes, heat soak becomes a factor with a hot start on a really hot day, but the tubing on the long runners is really thin with lots of surface area for air to flow over and to dissipate the heat when the car is moving.
