The torque curve dips below stock at 2,200rpm and peaks above stock an equal amount at 2,400rpm. I'm sure it's because the manifold isn't specifically tuned to the engine, so it has an uneven curve. And that's at wide open throttle, under normal partial throttle driving conditions that extreme effect is not felt.

I posted the dyno runs warts and all and let the chips fall where they may so that everyone here can see for themselves and decide for themselves because its dishonest to make claims without providing any proof of them.

It's not like I'll be at 2.2k rpm for very long

I'm sure with the Tooter, SRI, 1ZZ TB, a header, and a 2" cat-back exhaust, it'll have a nice low end torque increase over stock

By making the runners 12% longer, the intake manifold spacer lowered the torque peak by 2,500 rpm down to just 2,900 rpm.



The first production run begins as soon as we find a good source of nylon blocks.
Gonna be occupied for a while with this project, but when things slow down, I might try having one of these made for the Yaris, just to see how it works.
