You can remove the center console to gain access. Just remove the 10mm bolt in the cup holder at the rear, and then pop the console.

Thanks for the response CTScott. I should clarify that I meant the center control panel. I'll try to upload a picture here. It fell through the storage compartment on the right side there, left of the glove box.

That's what I am talking about as well. Those slots lead down below the AC panel, which in turn is wide open the under the center console.

Here's a picture of what you will see with the console removed. Note that stuff tends to go down under the carpet so you may have to fish around a bit.

CTScott - Just wanted to let you know that I was able to retrieve my ring after it had been missing for a month thanks to your help! Just as I was about to give up and close the console back up, I found it wedged as deeply as possible in a small crevice between the console and rug. Also found about a dollar in change. Thanks so much!!
