How do you pronounce Yaris?

I say Yar as in Far. And the end is definitely iss.

Toyota named it after the Greek god Charis. So.. yeah. Borrow that pronunciation.

To confuse the issue even more , Charis can have a different pronunciation if is someone's name. One of the roommates I had right after college is named Charis. She is half Italian and half Polish. Her dad is Polish...she has a Polish last name. She pronounces her first name 'Shar-eese', but spells it Charis.
