I'm not sure if this helps, but I live in northern MN and my mileage in the heart of winter tends to be quite a bit less than the advertised mpg. And my dead-of-winter mpg is about 20-25% than summer mpg (due to colder air and winter-blend gasoline, I presume).

You guys have 1nz-fe engines (1.5l). Is there any possibility that the performance decreases on a 2nz-fe (1.3l) engine?
