Wow, thanks so much for the detailed walkthrough!

Can we expect to see pictures of new rear speakers soon? ;D

Maybe lose the spare tire and put a sub in there (like the GTI's soundbox sub)?

Since Dory is my "beater car," I'm not really looking to spend money if I don't have to...I know, I know, I bought the Kenwood HU and the wheels and tires, but there was a reason for those. I needed USB connection to play music and BT for safety. I had to replace the tires because the factory tires were coming off in chunks (might as well replace the wheels, lol).

I got these CV speakers for free, as well as the Bazooka bass tube, from my previous employment (recently resigned there). I even got the other Bazooka bass tube for the FR-S for free there as well. Items were bought using points earned (don't want anyone thinking I stole them). So, unless the rear speakers blow out, I will not be replacing them. I have the HU set so that the rear speakers aren't producing any low ends, only mids and highs. I have the HPF set to like 150hz and at a 12dB/octave slope. So I don't foresee them blowing anytime soon. lol. I have the front speakers set to 60hz HPF at 18dB/octave slope.

I'm just waiting for Bazooka to send me the FAST-9999 harness that was supposed to be in the box, and then I'll have some nice lows.

Bro, your beater car is 100x nicer than my daily driver. Haha!

It's cool that you're able to make great upgrades to Dory on the cheap. I guess that means we won't be seeing you install a turbo like in the YouTube videos of various Yarii that I've been watching. From the sound of how talented you are with a wrench, I bet you could do it too. :)

lol, that's why I put "beater car" in quotes. I still treat her as if she's my only car.

If anyone's getting force fed, it'll be Snow White (FR-S). lol. She's on standby for now as the only mods I want to get some time in the future for her are front and side splitters, and rear diffuser. Those four pieces will cost around $1.5k though as I would get the Velox pieces (so they're both form and function).
