How often does serpentine belt need replaced?

Mine started getting squeaky at 160k miles. Replaced it, no more noise. There were some cracks and tiny chunks missing, as is typical of a worn belt.

I was helping a buddy installing the new set of tires and forged wheels on his truck when his brother with 2010 Yaris arrive. At 128k miles, it was squealing and have some cracks. So yes, it depends on the physical condition of the belt.
