Mine is a 2015 and it has a drain plug (10MM hex)

The transmission cooler is located in the radiator. I did not remove the return line I am just changing the ATF with Toyota WS (World Standard) fluid. Not as efficient as emptying through the transmission line but not as messy! I have 60,000 on the clock. Mine is a 2015. biggrin:
