I'm with you. Keep it light, simple, honest, and reliable.

The rest will work itself out.

The difference between Ontario hot summers and Florida every day summer is like night and day. Its bearable to drive around Ontario with no AC, but you just can't do that here.....

Sup my Yaris bros!

I am a newer member, and I did say I will post some pics of my Yaris Active, and here it is, everything came as standard ( except the black rims which I ordered from the brochure, so I chose 6 speed manual instead of automatic so I could mount these beauties when summer season is due, and the aluminum ones for winter ) ;)

Now I will go for an OEM style yaris, ordering the wing soon ( which I want to tint either black together with side mirrors or carbon fiber, did make a post of that but got so few replies I'd like some more opinions !!!! ) I will lower it as well, and you might have seen the post about the VITZ RS tail lights I have posted, in Thursday I will know if I have to rewire the connector or buy a different one, or simply not touch it and just order them :)

And I did fell in love with the body work of the RS vitz, so I will try and get my hands on one and import that as well if possible ^_^.

Forgot to mention I will tint the rear ( not allowed to tint the front :( in Sweden )

Also forgot the eye lids for the front lights >_>

But this is my white 2012 yaris :)

Enjoy

Wanted to jump in say hey to the fellow Florida Yaris owners and show off my new SE. Particularly my one little gripe about it in the front. What is up with that plate niche being 5.5" tall and 15.5" wide? What are some good things to do with that beings that I don't need an official plate there and the standard American size is too narrow or too tall and European size is too big?

It must be a Florida thing, although if the dealer had that awesome blue color 12yaris has, I may have taken that since it would match the seats.

Leaving the front bumper stock is a simple solution, but my personality will not allow it, it just seems unfinished....wanting. If I had the skills to cut out the back and pull it forward to match the front so it was all nice and uniform I would, but that's a difficult change to go back on.

A friend suggested getting a TRD sticker of appropriate size and sticking it onto a plate of brushed aluminum so it fit right in and would make the front flush and add a bit more contrast.

In the future I want to add some white light inside the grill to add some more 2nd kind of cool to the front. Intake, exhaust, sway bar, soundproofing and audio will also be addressed. Just need to get the funds. And the expertise, hopefully some of which will be learned from here.

Thanks,
Just painted foglight covers, and lower grill the color of the car.
Also painted the rear reflectors the color of the car.
They no longer look like an afterthought.

Can't upload pics now, just imagine reflectors, lower grill, fog light covers, and top portion of head lights being the color of the car.
