2011 vs 2012
Hey Guys. new to the forum.
I'm in the process of purchasing a new Yaris. I have an offer from a dealer for a new 5 door 2011 Yaris, automatic, with the power package for $15,900. I have also recently graduated from CSUF which qualifies me for the toyota grad program and $1000 rebate which brings my total to $14,900 before tax and licensing. My question is, do you think this is a good deal? Or should I hold out and wait for the 2012 model? I saw pictures and read reviews from this site on the 2012. I'm not a HUGE fan of the exterior. I like the 2011 exterior better. But i REALLY like the dash on the 2012 model. I saw the prices on the 2012 models and a 5 door LE is $16,100 which isn't much more than the 2011 i was offered. Would love to hear opinions from some of you seasoned yaris vets. Thanks! |

whatever deal you can make that saves you the most money is the correct choice.
anything else doesn't matter as much |

i can't go through a private dealer. going to have to finance the car. all the used cars at dealers are just as much as new ones.
and the price i could get for the 2011 seems similar to the 2012 LE prices. do i get the 2011 within the next week or so.. or do i wait 3 months for the 2012? |
