drivetrain is making funny noise while accelerating
So a couple days ago i was leaving school and i accelerated kinda fast and before i could shift into second gear something up front made a funny noise. It kinda sounded like my transmission was trying to kick out of gear. I really cant describe the noise accurately but it sounded like when someone grinds a gear but a hundred times faster. I didn't smell anything abnormal after it made the noise so i don't think the clutch was slipping. Does anyone know what it possibly could be?
