i guess alot of peoples in here are worry about MPG.
Alot of reviews about new 2008 xb said that it's very quiet and handling way better than the old version and they can do about 33mpg in City. I dont know yet, but probably it is my next new car.

33MPG city! That's friggin phantastic. So i guess the sticker MPG is on the new system, and it doesn't look as good, but yet can still deliver good MPG. That is great news and I will inform my brother that all is not lost with the new xB. Thanks!

BTW - I wouldn't mind getting an xB if the mileage is still in the same ballpark as the Yaris.

yeah it's said like 22 or 28 mpg on city or something, but alot of peoples got better mpg than that in City. I can't wait to test drive one.

ive read several threads on scion life and other forums. my take is that a majority of drivers are getting around 30 mpg or a little less even with mostly highway miles. my best friend in chicago traded his xa for the new xb 2 weeks ago. in 3 mostly highway commuting tanks, his highest mpg was just over 29. granted, the engine isnt broken in, but mid 30's mpg with that hulking car (compared to the xb1) is wishful thinking.

yes, a few people may get this, but my buddy lives and breathes for fuel efficiency. i warned him not to trade in the xa for an xb2 if fuel efficiecy was a priority. the buyers remorse has already begun. the xb2 shouldnt really appeal to someone with fuel efficiency as a high priority. id say the same thing about a nissan versa or dodge caliber, as the real world mileage of those has been a hot topic with their owners.

One good thing about the Xb is that they actually make the Honda Element look good. LOL!

Reminder: Wait for the xD if you want better mpg. It still won't match Yaris mileage but it will be much better than the new xB.
