I had a rattle coming from the plastic panel on hatch door. It's held on with little plastic pins, and one came out of its hole. Drove me insane, because every time I opened the hatch to find it, the little bugger rolled down inside the door!
 Finally removed the whole panel, put pins back in place, snapped it back on, presto, rattle fixed!
