I'll rent it next chance I get. Although, I haven't had as much time to watch movies as I used to. Darn work.

What in your opinion is the WORST movie you've ever seen? I mean relative to how much it cost to make.

Oh yeah, have you seen Metropolis by Fritz Lang? One of my all-time faves, even with the cheesy soundtrack on Giorgio Moroder's version.

that super old movie? I have never seen the entire thing, no. I have been meaning to for a very long time.

as far as visual masterpieces go......

I did see Kenneth Anger Volume I

FIREWORKS, PUCE MOMENT, RABBIT'S MOON, EAUX D'ARTIFICE, and INAUGURATION OF THE PLEASURE DOME

I was wowed to say the least. AMAZING

Excelent movie. Even if you don't like movies about class struggle and the proletariat rising up against the bourgeoisie.

...or movies with big symbolic clocks, actors wearing too much eyeliner, and who look like they are about to faint from the effort of showing intense emotion in a silent film!

Another really great silent film is The General by Buster Keaton as star and director, so funny you forget it was made 80 years ago.

That's a really tough one because many of the movies I like would be considered bad but my tastes vary tremendously.

The Fountain-what a waste-it was pretty awful

This would be my choice as far as somewhat recent viewings go. I'll have to ponder it for a bit to come up with an all time WORST.
