Yup. Exactly what the guys @ the shop said. Looks like the frame wasn't hurt at all. The guy at Toyota told me that the front is designed to crumple like that in order to minimize the damage to the rest of the car. Go figure. I should be getting my ride back in a few more days.

thought of moving to us? lol i will never drive down to mex.. im afraid neither me or my car will ever be seen again..lol too many horror stories from claims class...ha ha ha ha ha
I've actually lived in the US a couple of times. I like the US a lot (well, most of it, anyway). As far as you coming to Mexico, it really isn't as bad as ppl like to put it. Most problems between mexicans and americans lie in the northern part of Mexico. If you were to drive through all that and just get down here to the central and southern states, you would see how much nicer people are towards gringos... erm I mean, americans.

I just wanna go to Cancun and see the donkey shows...

But back on topic, glad to hear the frame of the car is fine, I guess that rebar does come in handy

You.... sick.... bastard.

Sounds like those responsible for the speed bump may have a class action on their hands with that many pile-ups! Glad you're not too bad off!

My uncle lives in Mexico for half the year in San Miguel de Allende; it's beautiful there, and the people were very friendly when I was there.

I took all the aftermarket stuff off (except for the rims, obviously), so no front/rear badges. Also, I yanked the front lights in order to make additional molds for the eyelids.
