How so??? My wife's 06' Civic is almost identical in terms of oil filter placement and drain plug placement. Toyota's downfall is that an OEM filter is almost $7 with tax. The civic's filter only costs $4.50..

Guess I haven't had enough hondas....my bad. Just remember older ones between the engine and firewall, where I've never had a toyota like that (other than my MR2's where the firewall's ahead of the engine).
