The rental mustang I had was a v-6 it hat supprising power for a v6 and it handled well. BUT it was very rough to ride in and the interior door panels were so cheap and the shifter was in the way of the ac controls. Not a bad choice but a ok car. That means a lot from me because I despise ford products after the ones I had fell apart.

you give it 3 years? Last summer when I was working in a shop I was seeing 2006's falling apart already

Nah, I figure get a Yaris in 3 years when gas in $5 a gallon. Then it'd be worth it for sure!

I've read a LOT of online reviews from 2005+ Mustang owners. I feel pretty confident that should I have any issues, they'll be the same minor ones you get with any brand.

If nothing else, it'll still look awesome on the back of a flatbed wrecker.
