Super Lite Wheels?
What are the lightest wheels out there? I'm going with 16's, 15's if they really kick ass. Anyone got pics of some real world rims that are feather lite? I say real world cuz there is no magnezium/carbon fiber $11,000 each rim budget for me
Thanks

RS-Watanabe Cyclones - forged magnesium, under 9lbs each in 15x7 +35 I believe these are the only 4-lug set in the country. These wheels where only made for 6 months and then discontinued. Very few in existence. They can be yours for $1400 with new 205/50/15 Toyo RA1's

Aspec actually have a set of CE28's in 15x7 in stock (gold) and I weighed them on the postal scale, they came out to 9.6lbs. each. The TE's in same size would be a little bit heavier according to Rays. 5.5" width is a little small for me

I you guys only knew how much these sold for when they where new
The wheels used to retail for over $800 EACH! and the RA1 tires aren't cheap either ($160 each). Total retail would have been over $3800 ![]() BTW, brand new authentic center caps are included :) |

I've heard good things about Motegi Traklites, and have been looking into getting a set for myself. They may not be the lightest or the cheapest, but they're strong and have a nice balance of the three.

If you're going for sheer weight, you can't go wrong with the TE-37, IMHO (assuming price isn't an issue).
Personally, I think I may go with 15" Kosei K1s when I get my Yaris.
