Change out LEDs in Sirius Receivers - Toyota Yaris Forums

Ok...so someone has risen up the challenge of changing out the lights in the stereos, but has anyone thought of or heard of changing the LEDs on a Sat Radio Receiver? I googled it, but came up empty....

They probably are surface mount led's . Very very small.
Dont atempt unless you are a great solderer

they're SMD's (which can be bought from eBay, white,blue,red,etc..). They're actually pretty easy to do it. but takes quite a long time to do it!

and on the Yaris Speedo (analog) they used SMD for the backlight, instead of the normal halogen bulb.

Thats a link how to change the backlight from the a Toyota Camry Stock Headunit. (i know the headunit might not be the same but really all basically has the same inside setup)
