I used to have the all-clear taillights in my Neon, with red bulbs. I worked a night shift, and on my way home one night, this small-town cop stopped me and told me my tails were "not the right shade of red". He then told me I need yellow turn signals (Neons are all red, period!). So, when I began to get snippy, he told me he didn't really know cars very well, and just kinda got in his car and let me go. Such idiocy!
