i was up in milwaukee for business last winter and my liftback handled the snow just fine for the two weeks i was there. i was using just the stock tires(goodyears) and still getting used to a manual transmission, but i didn't have any problems. i think it's more the DRIVER than the car in most cases.

On a side note, I didn't kill the car ONCE while heading into Chicago and getting caught up in some stop-n-go traffic on the Edens Expy!! PROGRESS!! |

Thanks
Yup, saw snow in the air here, too. 'Tis the season, won't be long now til the "white death" falls with accumulation. I have a manual too (sedan) and have gotten used to the clutch. It had a little strange feel at first, but now its second nature and I don't think when I'm using it.
Glad you made it through Chicago, Ok. The only thing I hate worse than driving through Chicago in my car, is navigating it on my motorcycle. Everybody dodge deer.. it is that season here now, too. No new bambi hood oranaments! |
