a quick google search has the following methods:
1) using some sort of heater to get them medium hot, then peel 2) use "goof off" google for more detail |

I used a fat chisle tip sharpie to color them black. I "painted" on a layer, let it dry and "painted" on another layer untill it was as dark as I wanted it to be. I'm very satisfied with the result.
I supose you could just use a rattlecan and spray paint them black too.
