Do you have ABS?
ABS is more prone to locking up in slippery conditions

Look to see if the little rubber cover for the brake adjuster slot is in place.
My guess is that your getting moisture between the brake shoe and drum and it's "rusting" together overnight causing your wheel to lock until you break the fused drum from the shoes. |
