Why would you really want to keep it for a million miles anyways?

In 10 years, this car is going to be so outdated, it won't even be funny. 40MPG will be a joke -- hopefully. Even the iQ will blow the Yaris out of the water, and that should be here in a couple years.

Economically, it wouldn't make sense to keep this car for a long time.

I dunno - economically it didn't make sense for me to keep my Jeep that gets 13 to 16 mpg when I bought my Yaris - but I did. Not only that, but a month after I bought the Yaris I took a cross country trip (1700 miles one way) and drove the Jeep. Go figure.

Point is, there are reasons people keep cars around other than for the economy of it.

Hmm, only had mine for 6 months and have already racked-up more than 8k

Guess I would have to say 100k or 8 years, whichever comes first

But then again, I don't even wanna think about giving it up to begin with
