Jacking is not necessary. I put two on with the cars sitting naturally. Shock mount bolts slide easily even with the vehicle weight on them. If you a small enough to worm your way under the car without jacking or ramps, then you are good to go.

align?
Will I need a rear end alignment after I loosen those bolts and attach the sway bar?
