What tire and wheel combination is Crandall using? That makes all the difference. If I went for 17" General Altimax HP 205-40/R17 with Kosei K1 TS it would weight 32 lbs, 2 pounds lighter than stock 15" alloys.
i dig, i dig

he's got tenzo-r somethingorothers...i think theyre 18lbs a rim and has general exclaim uhp tires in 215-40-17

i threw his RS rims on my car to go to a meet in boston one time and noticed a minor difference from my 14's to the 15's....(keeping in mind that i noticed a BIG difference between my 14's and his 17's)

but 17's sure look sharp!

there are a few members with the feathers.... they are light.... possibly too thin of a spoke for ya, but they are fairly inexpensive though

TR says 18lbs for those tires, total weight is only 36lbs ?!?!
Did the weight shift to the outside really affect it that much?

Wow, that IS nice. Just found this:

König – Again 4 17 x 7 16.8 lbs. ET40 Offset

I have nothing against rims with lips, just really like the look and colour of the Borbet LV4. The KR595 that I'm considering also has a similar colour, which I think would look good against the Flint Mica.

Here is the best site I have found with wheel sizes and actual weights

wheelweights.net

Also remember differant tires of the same size are differant weights. My Nitto's on my tC are 22lbs while the same size Toyo's on the scale were 23.5
