For one, Water injection works very well especially in forced induction engines. The thing that you are most likely getting is that you have gotten the MAF sensor wet and if you have a K&N style oiled filter have transferred some of that oil onto the sensor which is very sensitive. What people fail to realize for every gallon of gas you burn you vehicle produces up to or more than that amount in water on it's own. It's part of internal combustion, and is no big secret. People tend to say all these crazy things about water simply because they do not know the chemistry behind internal combustion. If they did they would stop getting suckered into HHO generators ![]() Even a stock Yaris could handle a .50gph water injection nozzle and would run just fine. This is coming from someone who knows a little about alcohol/water injection. Turbo it and water injection is a great way to go.
