I love the car, and the gas mileage is not bad, but I am jealous of the people that are getting above 40mpg. I get 32-34 with mixed driving, and I'm very careful and have a very light foot, so it sounds a bit strange when people say they drive without being careful and with a heavy foot and get around 40.
I also had a jetta TDI, and was getting about 36mpg with the same route I drive now, I will still try to break the 36mpg mark though. |

I was hoping for slightly more. I'm averaging about 36 MPG in Southern California. It's not bad, and should be content with that, but my old CRX was getting about 41 under the same driving conditions. Makes selling that CRX a tought thing to do (I still have it).
